Major League Baseball and the MLB Players Association have recently announced the full roster of players traveling to Japan to represent the MLB team in the 2018 Japan All-Star series.
New York Mets shortstop Amed Rosario will be representing the team in the series.
In 2018, Rosario batted .256 with 24 stolen bases and an .676 OPS. His overall season stats do not measure how well he played in the second half.
In the second half, Rosario hit .268/.302/.383 with ten doubles, five home runs, and eighteen stolen bases. He’s due for a break out season in 2019 and the Japanese series will only help him.
