According to ESPN, Clayton Kershaw, the Dodgers’ ace and the face of the franchise for the last decade, agreed Friday to a new, three-year, $93-million deal to remain with Los Angeles.

The three-time National League Cy Young Award winner has spent all 11 of his Major League seasons with the Dodgers and signed a seven-year, $215 million extension prior to the 2014 season. He posted a 2.73 ERA in an injury-shortened 2018 season in which he saw diminished fastball velocity.
