According to @MichaelFFlorio, the Mets have signed Ervin Santana to a minor league deal. The 36-year-old starting pitcher was coming off an injury-plagued 2018 season with the Minnesota Twins and was looking to rebound with the White Sox in 2019.

Chicago designated Santana for assignment on April 26th after he went 0-2 with a 9.45 ERA and a 1.88 WHIP in three starts this season.
